The “Dance: The Cutting Edge – Acrobatic Artistry: Level 2” video builds upon everything learned in Level 1. Level 2 has progressions down the mat and balance skills, which become more advanced as dancers learn advanced variations such as One-handed and Japspring Cartwheels, Elbow Stands, Egg Rolls, Fishbowls, and Tower Stunts. This video gives students an impressive 105 new skills to add to their repertoire! Dancers truly build not only their strength, but also their confidence. Level 2 hones and refines skills from Level 1 by adding only a few more stunts, such as Ponies, Backward Straddle Rolls, and Crossarm Cartwheels. Acrobatics is an art and science, as well as a sport, and it is important for students to focus on proper muscle engagement and execution of each movement.
Kimberly’s number one priority is the safety of her students through proper spotting, teaching correct hand placement, and encouraging strength training and conditioning. Using our “Acrobatic Artistry” series, alongside our “Extreme Stretch and Flexibility”, “Boost n’ Bounce”, “How-To Tutorial”, and “Ultimate Conditioning” video series’, will craft you into the strong and able dancer you wish to be!
