Acrobatic Artistry: Level 4 Vol. I-III
In “Dance: The Cutting Edge – Acrobatic Artistry Level 4”, more advanced stretches are introduced to ensure the dancer stays limber and develops to their fullest potential. More moves are done in continuity, such as Chest Rolls and Handstands. Springing skills like Standing Back Handsprings, Front Handsprings with Pops, and multiple Roundoff and Walkover Variations, such as Hollow Rebounds and Spiders are now introduced, along with Illusions. Dancers also learn Handstand Balances, Chinstand Scorpion, and Elbow Stand Pretzels; advanced balancing skills with Three-Handed Cartwheels, Roundoff Toe Touches, and Roundoff Half Twists; and new backbend variations like No-Handed Backbends and Changément Back Walkovers. In all, the students will learn more than 120 new skills in this level! Level 4 offers a plethora of unique new skills and takes back flexibility to the next level with variations like Crab Jumps, Tower Stunts and Twists, and Valdezes, as well as introducing the dancer to Consecutive Back Handsprings and Front Tuck.
As with all of her videos, Kimberly focuses on teaching her students stunts with an emphasis on safety. Each student is properly spotted, taught correct hand placement, and given instruction in strength training and flexibility. Using our “Acrobatic Artistry” series, alongside our “Extreme Stretch and Flexibility”, “Boost n’ Bounce”, “How-To Tutorial”, and “Ultimate Conditioning” video series’, will craft you into the strong and able dancer you wish to be!
