Acrobatic Artistry: Level 3 Vol. I-III
The “Dance: The Cutting Edge – Acrobatic Artistry: Level 3” combines conditioning skills with new performance skills. Dancers will build a unique repertoire with professional performance skills like Monkey Tuck, Headstands, Chin Stands, Chinese Handstand Drills, Yogi Handstands, Arabians, Roundoffs, Roundoff Rebounds, Back Handspring Drills, Back Walkover Arabesque, and Aerials. Level 3 implements various training techniques such as Aerial Drills, Continuous Cartwheels, Tick Tock Cartwheels, Beat Back Walkovers, and Multiple Back Limbers. Dancers will execute with superior flexibility at this level, for example, performing a contortionist style backbend. Level 3 builds on previous skills, as well as teaches more than an impressive 98 new skills total! The focus of the series is to add more variations to Rolls (Pike and Dive rolls), Cartwheels (intricate arm movements such as an Opposite Pushaway), balances (Chin Stand Variations and Clasped Elbow Stands), and backbend skills to build the student’s acrobatic repertoire.
As in all her teaching, Kimberly strives to maintain a safe environment for all of her students through proper spotting techniques, teaching proper hand placement, and encouraging her students to have strong minds and bodies. Using our “Acrobatic Artistry” series, alongside our “Extreme Stretch and Flexibility”, “Boost n’ Bounce”, “How-To Tutorial”, and “Ultimate Conditioning” video series’, will craft you into the strong and able dancer you wish to be!
