In “Traditional Ballet – Pointe: Advanced” dancers will work exclusively en pointe. Exercises will be at the barre, in the center, and some across the floor. They are learning professional-level movements and intricate footwork patterns. Dancers must be knowledgeable in all ballet terminology and techniques through our Pointe Intermediate level to properly utilize this video. It is advised that they are currently taking ballet class either through our “Traditional Ballet Series” or through a studio multiple days per week. To prevent injury, it is necessary that students possess proper posture, utilization of correct muscles in turnout, a well-elevated relevé on demi-pointe, and correct distribution of body weight—both on two legs and on one.
