Both the Basic Syllabus and SMART Syllabus include the exact same progression-based skill list, but the format and how you use them are completely different.

The Basic Syllabus is a downloadable and printable PDF that lists all the skills along with timestamps that correspond to the full tutorial video. The skills themselves are not clickable, so you'll need to open the matching video manually and scrub to the correct time using the timestamp provided from the syllabus. This version is best for teachers who prefer a printed reference or want to keep a hard copy in a studio binder.

The SMART Syllabus is also downloadable, but it’s designed to be used online. Every skill on the list is clickable and plays directly the tutorial video. Instead of scrubbing through the video to find the timestamps, you can simply click the skill title and instantly view the skill video. Because of this functionality, the SMART Syllabus is not intended for printing—it works best online as a digital PDF used on your device.

So while the skill content is identical, the experience is very different.

We’ve seen this happen before, and 9 times out of 10, it’s your bank or credit card company flagging the $0 trial transaction as a security precaution—even if the card has plenty of funds. It’s annoying, we know.

Platinum members do not have access to Video-Based Lesson Plans. These are part of the Interactive Resources included only with Corporate Membership and cannot be purchased separately.

SMART Lesson Plans are also included in Corporate Membership, but they are available to purchase separately. Platinum members can buy SMART Lesson Plans a la carte or as part of a bundle, even if they don’t have Corporate access.

That’s expected—lesson plans are not included in the Platinum Membership.

Video-Based Lesson Plans are part of our Corporate Membership only and cannot be purchased separately.

Yes, you can! The Basic Syllabus is included in your Platinum Membership, so you should have full access to it. If you’re not seeing it in your account, it could just be a temporary tech glitch. Try refreshing your browser or clearing your cache. If that doesn’t do the trick, reach out to support and we’ll manually confirm your access right away.

Now—if you’re actually looking for the SMART Syllabus, that’s a different product. The SMART Syllabus is not included in Platinum. It’s part of the Corporate Membership, but the good news is: you can still purchase it separately as a Platinum member, either a la carte or in a bundle.

Yes. Coupon codes work with Platinum subscriptions—unless you're in a free trial or the plan is marked for cancellation. Enter them in your Billing tab at checkout.

Yes, you can! Just go to your Membership Details, cancel your current monthly plan, and then re-subscribe using the Annual option. Don’t worry—you’ll keep your access and progress, as long as you re-subscribe right after canceling. Just make sure to select the correct plan during checkout.
