Primary Ballet Choreography: "Ballerina Dreams" Vol.I
Note: Syllabus in Choreo series is a one page description of the routine. (Complimentary)
“Dance: The Cutting Edge Choreography Series – “Ballerina Dreams” – Primary Ballet Animated Vol. I” was created as a collaborative effort with original material by Sofia Arencibia and Kimberly Beck Thomson, an award-winning choreographer. Miss Sofia is a professional dancer and instructor who brought a charming, playful approach to the choreography of the video for tots, ages 3-6. Tots will enjoy the animated setting while dreaming of being an adored, beautiful ballerina. Take your tot through the imaginary world of a fairy land princess who moves her way into the hearts of all in the land who see her dance!
The steps included in the choreography are demonstrated within the “Primary for Tots” video library. Young dancers will learn how to memorize steps that build sequences, develop their independence and confidence, and increase their coordination, agility, and strength. Tots learn body awareness, balance, and musical skills like rhythm and tempo. This video helps tots learn how to perfect combinations for dance performances to delight their audience. Dancers should learn the steps within the DTCE “Primary Ballet for Tots” video series, then follow with this delightful choreography with animations and detailed breakdowns to engage the young dancer. This is an amazing resource for studio owners, dance instructors, school dance programs—and daycares too!
