01. How much does a subscription cost?
We offer 4 pricing (subscription) tiers; bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. You can view them HERE.
02. What does my subscription include?
- What’s included in your subscription will depend on which tier you choose.
- Our platinum subscription will grant you access to EVERYTHING DTCE offers now and in the future PLUS access to our exclusive Facebook group!
03. Do you offer a free trial?
We do offer a 5-Day Free Trial! Our free trial gives you complete access to the subscription tier of your choice.
NOTE: You will be required to enter a payment method when signing up for the free trial as a website security measure. As long as you cancel your subscription before it renews, you will not be charged.
04. What does my subscription include?
What’s included in your subscription will depend on which tier you choose. Our platinum subscription will grant you access to EVERYTHING DTCE offers now and in the future PLUS access to our exclusive Facebook group!
05. Do I have to pay a membership fee?
No, there is no additional membership fee — only your subscription cost.
06. Do you offer a monthly or a year subscription?
- We offer both! You may pay month-to-month for your subscription or you may want to consider saving 20% by purchasing a yearly subscription!
- If you choose the yearly subscription, you will be charged for the full year upon checkout and the 20% savings will be applied automatically.
07. Does my subscription expire?
No, your subscription does not expire. As long as your subscription is active (you are paying for it), you will have access to your courses.
08. Can I give a subscription as a gift?
You may give a subscription as a gift; however, we don’t offer gift subscriptions at this time. You would need to purchase and manage the subscription.

11. Do you offer a Monthly or a Yearly Subscription?
- We offer both! You may pay month-to-month for your subscription or you may want to consider saving 20% by purchasing a yearly subscription!
- If you choose the yearly subscription, you will be charged for the full year upon checkout and the 20% savings will be applied automatically.
12. For yearly subscription, do you need to pay every year? And if so, is there a discount of some kind for the 2nd, 3rd year etc.?
- Although we do not offer a discount for the Annual membership, even if you continue to subscribe for consecutive years; you will however have access to “new videos/content“ and your subscription price will NEVER increase!
- If you choose not to continue with your annual subscription, make sure to cancel prior to your automatic renewal yearly membership.

15. How do I get an invoice or receipt of my purchase/subscription?
There are two ways to access a receipt for your purchase(s).
- First, you will receive receipt for all DTCE purchases via email.
- Secondly, you may access an invoice by clicking Membership Invoices from the drop-down menu in your profile. Your invoice(s) will be listed by date. Click on any date and your invoice for that date will open. You'll have the option to print it if you'd like to.
16. My payment failed. What do I do now?
- If your payment failed, and you did not receive a specific error on the checkout form, we recommend first contacting your bank or card provider.
- A blocked charge is the most common reason for payment issues, so contacting your bank may help clarify the issue.
- If your bank can confirm they're not blocking the charge, please contact us so we can take a look.
17. The site kept asking me to purchase a subscription.
- Always make sure that you are signed in with the email address that you used when you signed up. If you are not signed in you will only see sample videos.
18. Is this month to month or a year obligation?
We offer both monthly/annual subscriptions. You may pay month-to-month for your subscription or you may want to consider saving 20% by purchasing a yearly subscription! 20. If the studio applies for membership, do the teachers also have access on their home computers to view the work, without any extra charge?
- Yes, the teachers have access on their home computers to view the work without any extra charge.
- We offer a Multi-access User feature for Platinum and Gold Members.
- The Sponsored discount code is applicable for you to share your membership with two (2) additional faculty members/dance teachers within your studio/organization.

05. How long are the videos (or course modules)?
- Our videos are complete dance courses. Most course videos average 2-5 hours and each video course is made up of several lessons that range from 5-25 minutes.
- Some classes may have longer lessons.
06. How long do I have to access the courses/modules/videos?
- You will have access to your course modules/videos, based on your subscription tier, for as long as you maintain (pay for) your subscription.
07. Can I download the videos?
- Currently, we offer a subscription-based product; therefore, downloading our videos is not permitted.
08. On what devices can I view the videos?
- You may view DTCE videos on any device that has an internet connection, supports a browser, and supports playback of videos. (Phones, tablets, computers, SmartTVs, etc.)
09. Do I lose access to the videos I’ve already watched?
- As long as you are paying for your subscription, you’ll have access to the videos in the genre you’ve subscribed to and based on your subscription tier.
NOTE: There is an exception. If you change from one genre to another genre, you will lose access to your former chosen genre. (e.g. You’ve purchased the Bronze subscription and have access to one (1) genre and have chosen Traditional Ballet, but want to change your genre to Hip Hop. You may make that change—for an additional fee—however, you will lose access to Traditional Ballet when you make the change.)

10. What browser do I need to watch the videos?
- You can use Google Chrome or Safari.
11. Can I buy a syllabus from another Genre even if I don't have access to its series?
- Yes. You may buy as many syllabus as you'd like.
12. Can I change Genres in the middle of the month either using my free credit or purchasing additional credits?
- Yes. You may change your genre as many times as you'd like.
13. Can I purchase a complete genre?
We do not currently sell complete genres. We offer four tiers in our subscription plan that allow access to complete genres.
14. Can I purchase a complete series?
Yes! We offer all of our series as a stand-alone purchase.
15. Does my year of access start on my purchase date or when I enroll in a course?
Your access begins as soon as you make your purchase. That way you can work through more than one genre or series at a time (e.g. You can learn Hip Hop at the same time you’re learning Jazz.)
16. I paid, but don’t have access. What should I do?

17. What age or level of experience is necessary for using DTCE?
Our DTCE courses are progressive by design and are great for preschoolers through adults. That means that your preschooler can start with the Primary for Tots Series and progress through the more difficult courses as they master the required skills to move to the next level! Our video descriptions will tell you if a student will need to have mastered certain skills or have any kind of prerequisites (either from a dance class/studio or from one of our lower-level courses) before attempting a higher level.
18. How long do I have to complete a course?
There is no time limit for completing a course. Go at your own pace.
19. How much is each syllabus?
- Syllabus prices vary. Here are the links to Acrobatics, Tap, and Jazz Genre where you can view the price for each Series.
20. Can I access everything?
- If you avail our PLATINUM SUBSCRIPTION, you will have an all access pass to our complete extensive VIDEO LIBRARY with corresponding SYLLABUS. It includes 10 Dance Genre Video Bundles + Syllabus (65+ Courses, 3000+ Lessons).
21. Can I order a single video?
At this time, we do not offer single video purchases. However, we do offer single SERIES purchases which would include all videos available in whatever series you choose.
22. What age do you recommend for the Jazz syllabus?
- Our Jazz Course - Instructional Videos/Syllabus is recommended for ages 7-16 years old. Please keep in mind the material presented is at the discretion of the teacher depending on the level of the student/class.
23. Do we get the videos once a month or all at once?
- All videos are available at the time of purchase. You can view your videos by clicking Purchased Products on the Navigation Bar.
24. I want to purchase multiple syllabus. Do they include lesson plans?
- No, syllabus do not include lesson plans. Our Video-Based Lesson Plans are available for an additional fee. Here's how to purchase DTCE's Video-Based Lesson Plans
25. Are download print outs available?
Yes! Our Syllabus are available for download after purchase.

26. Can I order a DVD?
No. Our program is subscription based and we use an online streaming platform.
27. Will you be offering a teacher's training program/videos?
All of our courses and their syllabi can be used by students, teachers, and studio owners to help design curricula; however, we don’t currently offer training programs specifically for teachers.
28. Is there a Google Play or iOS DTCE app?
We currently do not offer an app. It is, however, something we may consider in the future.

01. What forms of payment do you accept?
At this time we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover
02. How do I change my payment method or update my credit/debit card information?
You can do this from your Membership Details page. Click the drop-down menu next to your name and/or profile picture and then click “Membership Details.” Follow the prompts to update/change your billing information.
03. How can I remove my saved credit card?
You can remove your saved credit card and replace it with another payment method in the Membership Details section. Click the arrow next to your name/profile picture and choose "Membership Details." You will be taken to the page where you can edit your payment information.
04. Will I get a receipt (or invoice) for my purchase(s)?
Yes. You will get a receipt when you purchase a subscription. You will also be able to access all past invoices/receipts. Click on the drop-down menu for your account then click Membership Invoices and it will take you to your invoices.
05. Is my credit card information secure?
Yes, your credit card information is secure. We use Stripe (Stripe.com) as our payment processing platform. You can read more about their security protocols HERE if you’d like.

03. Can I add a profile picture to my account?
Yes, you can add a profile picture. To do this, you will need to click on the drop-down menu for your account and then click My Profile. That will take you to the page where you can add/change your profile picture.
04. How do I change my password?
You can change your password by clicking on the drop-down menu by your name or profile picture and choosing Change Password. From there you will be taken to the page where you can enter a new password. Please be aware that you will have to enter your old password to do this.
If you have forgotten your password, please follow the “forgot password” steps to reset your password.
05. How do I change my account login email?
You may change your email by clicking on the drop-down menu next to your name or profile picture and selecting My Profile. You will be taken to the page where you can change your email.
06. Can I add a profile picture to my account?
- Yes, you can add a profile picture.
- To do this, you will need to click on the drop-down menu for your account and then click My Profile.
- That will take you to the page where you can add/change your profile picture.
07. How do I log out?
- You can log out anytime by clicking here, or visiting your profile button on the upper right-hand corner and clicking Sign out.

01. What is the upfront cost?

02. What products would we earn the commission on?
- Commission is earned via per student enrolled in DTCE under the direction of PRC Dance - Membership Valid for 1 year (minimum 25 students enrolled).

- Yes. Our all DTCE Accredited Courses are included with the Executive Membership.

01. How do I use a coupon code I received from DTCE?
You will have the option to enter your coupon code at checkout and the discount will be applied automatically.
02. I’m trying to use a coupon code, but it's not working.
DTCE coupon codes are for single use (you can’t use your friend’s coupon code) and some do have an expiration date. If you have a coupon code that you have not used before and that you did not receive from someone other than DTCE, please Contact Us and one of our support team members will be in touch. 01. I am trying to get my daughter started with the link given but it shows that there is a sponsor error.
- Log out of the device that you originally signed up with "Security Feature: Cannot be logged in to two devices at one time" - Try logging in on your ipad with the original user name and password - In order to view the videos go to Genres >>>> https://dancethecuttingedge.com//dance-genres/ and click on any genre that you want to watch - Please note: you must be signed in with the email address that you used to create your account in order to see the premium videos
02. I'm getting an error that says "Code already redeemed".
- If you're seeing a "Code already redeemed" error, it's likely that you have redeemed the code already by clicking the link once and inputting your email address. - If you've already redeemed, you should have received another, separate email from us that contains a link to watch.
cancel/refund
01. How do I cancel my subscription?
If you’d like to cancel your subscription, you may do so by going to your account, then Membership Details, and follow the prompts. From there you may also upgrade or downgrade your subscription.
02. How do I get a refund?
Because DTCE is a subscription-based product, and you also have an option to sign up for a free trial prior to purchase, we do not offer refunds.
