Sample Video

Introducing the dancer to our advanced levels is our “Dance: The Cutting Edge – Acrobatic Artistry: Level 5”. It is directly built off Levels 1-4. All prior skills and techniques should be refined as proper implementation is necessary to safely learn these variations. They are advanced, professional, creative, and meant for performance. At Level 5, students are focusing on advancing their Aerials, adding diving variations to their spring skills, learning Pike Pop Squats, and starting to learn some of Kimberly’s other unique combined skills. This video introduces the Standing Back Tuck, Elbow Front Walkovers, Elbow Tower Stunts, Brandys, One-Handed Roundoffs, Clasped Back Walkovers, Arabians, Spotters, and Yogi Handstands. In all, students will learn more than 100 skills at this level!

As a third-generation dance teacher and choreographer, Kimberly has always incorporated acrobatics into her work. Her philosophy is safety first, with proper spotting, hand placement, and strength training. The high demand for her leadership in master classes and workshops is based on numerous awards for her innovative and creative choreography; her students are always recognized as having a superior level dance technique, poise, and stage presence. Using our “Acrobatic Artistry” series, alongside our “Extreme Stretch and Flexibility”, “Boost n’ Bounce”, “How-To Tutorial”, and “Ultimate Conditioning” video series’, will craft you into the strong and able dancer you wish to be!
